I don’t post on here anymore but it has come to my attention that the preeminent mustache archive was lacking a very important one. One of the best parts of one of my very favorite movies. Enjoy!

According to the Onion AV Club review of A Million Ways to Die in the West, Neil Patrick Harris plays an oily proprietor of an upscale “mustachery.” So make sure to see this when it’s no HBO in a few years.
This might just turn into an “Insert Me Anywhere” page for a while. Here’s Tobias with the cast of Wild Hogs.
Well this is pretty great. There is a new Arrested Development promotion out called Insert Me Anywhere and it features videos and pictures of Tobias Fünke (David Cross) in front of a green screen doing different stock characters for James Cameron to use in future movies. The list of characters include Cowpoke, Motorcycle Ruffian, Big Man on Campus (pictured above), along with a few more.
There are hours of fun to be had on this site. I wish I knew anything about editing video because there’s some opportunity there to get him in some fun situations. I had to settle for some photoshopping. Here’s Tobias’ Big Man on Campus character not giving a shit about the Saved by the Bell crew’s smashed up car:
Comedian and podcaster Marc Maron has a new show on Friday nights on IFC called Maron that has been on a for a few weeks. I was able to catch up on it this weekend and to my delight got to see both Maron and fellow comedian Dave Foley with a couple of nice steeshes.
Maron, much like Louis C.K.’s Louie, follows a fictionalized Maron. Even though it’s not as good as the old shows on the TGIF lineup, it pretty good entertainment for a Friday night show.
James Adomian is a stand-up comedian and actor. I saw him last night at Zanies in Chicago and he was really funny. I’d heard him many times doing characters like Jesse Ventura and Huell Howser on the Comedy Bang Bang podcast (he also appeared on an episode of the TV show on IFC). He’s not only hilarious, he has a great mustache that he described as the “thinnest mustache allowable by law.”
Trying to tell someone that you think a comedian is very funny can be tricky. I can recommend you go see James Adomian this weekend at Zanies in Chicago because he’s the funniest live comedian I’ve seen since Hannibal Buress, while my cousin Bryan would recommend you go see Jim Belushi because he’s the funniest guy he’s seen since Frank Caliendo. You’ll just have to realize that I have a sense of humor and Bryan has an “According to Jim” poster in his basement.
Kenan Thompson has been on SNL since 1993 2003. In his youth, he was in a couple of the best movies of the 90’s, Heavyweights and Mighty Ducks 2. Kenan was a cast member on The Steve Harvey Show which might explain why he does a decent impression of Harvey.
Here is the skit from this weekend where he helps a man get over his phobia of horses while explaining to people that his phobia is falling asleep and having his mustache choke him to death.
Christoph Waltz hosted SNL last weekend. During the monologue they pranced out a number of characters meant to make fun of Waltz’s native Austria, one of which was Casual Hitler played by Taran Killam.
Casual Hitler is probably very offensive to a lot of people, but it can’t be more offensive than some of the movies Taran (who is very funny) was in before getting on to SNL, like Big Fat Liar or Epic Movie.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, married couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally answered questions and shared relationship advice with The A.V. Club.
