According to ESPN, Derrick Rose is not 100% physically due to some burning in his hamstrings. Also according to ESPN, Derrick Rose is a middle-aged white man with a mustache. Just kidding guys. I think this is an ad. We’re just having fun over here. It’s just for fun.
ESPN the Magazine has put together a music issue featuring athletes posing as famous album covers. Here is Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman as Michael Jackson (slightly modified) on the Thriller cover.
The issue also features NASCAR driver Jimmie Johnson as Bob Dylan and track and field sprinter Allyson Felix as Beyoncé. You’ve got to give it to ESPN the Magazine for knowing their audience. They took athletes their readers might usually not care about and dressed them up as musicians they probably don’t care about.
As anyone die-hard soccer nut knows, Alexi is a retired American soccer player, former soccer president and GM, and current ESPN and ABC analyst. For those of use who don’t know him we might google him while at work to find out more about him. By doing so we might also discover that there is a women with a similar name that takes her clothes of to make monies.
I don’t think my internet use is monitored, but if it is, anybody out there hiring?
Erin Andrews is leaving ESPN after 8 years to join Fox Sports. After famously being stalked and videotaped in the nude in 2008 by some loon who followed her around the country, she was fed up with being sexually harassed at ESPN by the likes of Chris Berman and Steve Phillips, I’m assuming.
If you haven’t heard of Sarah Phillips, you might pretty soon, unless you watch ESPN. She is a regular contributor to ESPN’s website that has been caught scamming innocent people out of money and websites. If she ever wants another job, she’s going to need a pair of sunglasses and steesh to hide her face.
If you have some time (and you must have some time on your hands if you’re reading this post), check out the Deadspin articlethat lays out all of her offenses. It’s pretty crazy stuff.
