Harold Perrineau plays Damon Pope, the dangerous drug kingpin in Oakland on SOA. He also played Michael on Lost, which I didn’t realize until I googled him. You can really get closer to someone and learn more about them once you take the step to give them a good googling.
Tommy Flanagan plays Filip “Chibs” Telford on SOA. Perhaps the sound on the television is starting to fade, but it seems to me that Tommy is getting more and more difficult to understand each episode. Listening to him talk is like listening to a leprechaun with a mouth full of chunky peanut butter.
After suing FX for stealing the idea of an outlaw motorcycle club tv show, Chuck Zito joined Sons of Anarchy this year as a transfer from another chapter of the MC (mustache club).
Besides acting Chuck is an/was an amateur boxer, martial artist, celebrity bodyguard, stuntman, former boxing trainer and former president of the New York chapter of the Hells Angels. I had to check that list twice to confirm that “High School Gym Weekend Wrestler” wasn’t on that list, seeing as he looks just like one of those nuts.
Kurt Sutter is the creator of Sons of Anarchy. He also plays the role of Otto on the show. He’s only my second favorite Otto on television, after Otto Mann from The Simpsons, but Otto Mann doesn’t have a steesh or an eye patch so it’s really becoming a closer race each day.
Kim Coates plays Alex ‘Tig’ Trager on Sons of Anarchy – a show filled to the brim with steeshes (like Ron Perlman who has been featured on steeshes before). He’s perfectly creepy on this show. Just last night he was drooling over a transvestite prostitute. His Wikipedia page says he has starred in the lead role of Macbeth performed at the Stratford Theatre, which is hard to imagine, but makes me respect him as an actor a bit more.
You’d never know he was a good actor by watching the scene where his daughter gets fired murdered and he screams for 2 minutes straight.
