What If They Grew A Steesh: Oprah Winfrey

Today is Oprah’s birthday. She is 59 years old. I thought it would be fun to post one of the first “What If They Grew A Steesh” posting we ever had, from May 2008. I would update the bad MS paint job mustache, but I don’t care for Oprah.

One time she made a point to say she went to a book store because, as she put it, “I buy my own books.” It still makes me angry to think about her saying that. How distanced from reality does someone have to be to think that anyone would be impressed by another person going to a book store and buying her own book. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT, OPRAH!

I’d wish her a horrible birthday, but she’s rich and will probably be eating her favorite meal with an amazing cake. What else could you really want on your birthday?

Biff Henderson Styles Geraldo Rivera’s Mustache

I wanted to represent Letterman’s show on here today because he’s my favorite, but we’ve already showcased Paul Shaffer. So I found a nice picture of Biff Henderson, stage director and on camera personality, touching Geraldo Rivera’s mustache. Honorable mention was any picture with Alan Kalter.

The Tonight Steesh with Kevin Eubanks

From 1995 to 2010, Kevin Eubanks was the leader of the Tonight Show Band. I never cared for Jay Leno because he’s not funny, but I’ve got no beef with Kevin.

Chuy Bravo – Steeshy Lately

I’ll stick with the theme of Talk Show sidekicks for today. Here is Chuy Bravo who is on Chelsea Lately. According to an internet website, Chuy was host Chelsea Handler’s personal assistant before being brought on-screen.

The few times I’ve seen the show it appears he gets picked on quite a bit, but this other internet website said that his net worth is $1.5 million and he makes $500K a year. You can physically throw trash at me for 40 hours a week for that kind of money.

Guillermo Díaz Rodriguez

Guillermo Díaz Rodriguez was a parking lot security guard for the Jimmy Kimmel. He began appearing in bits for the show and now is an everyday on-screen personality.

Here’s a clip from the other night of Jimmy Kimmel showing Guillermo around Brooklyn:
